When asking about a word, I would recommend providing as much context as you can, even if you think people should be able to answer without it. It just saves a lot of back and forth. Where did you see it? What was the full sentence? What kind of person said it? And so on.
At first glance, it makes me think someone meant to say 見られず, but just used the (usually) identical-sounding づ instead for some reason.
But without any context, I can't do anything but speculate on that.
I think it is 見られず instead of 見られづ. Which is negative form of 見られる。
For example 富士山は玄関から見られず後ろの窓から見られる。
Any way pls quote the context / the entire sentence.
I have heard this word on a enka song called 「橋めぐり」by Sayuri Ishikawa. The line follows 誰にも見られづ「見られず」 五つの橋巡り... and so on. Thank you for responding to me and helping me out.
What is the meaning of 見られづ
Please help me to understand this word.
