What does "children's language" mean on here

some words are tagged as children's language #chn what does that mean?

Language that children use, or I suppose, adults use when talking to children. You know how adults don't say "My tummy hurts." Though they may say "Does your tummy hurt?" when talking to a child.

So "tummy" would be regarded as "children's language" in English.

Was there some other way you were imagining it?
