The explanations on weblio.jp only talk about the night and seasons.
So is the explanation on jisho.org too wide or the explanation on weblio.jp too narrow?

weblio's definitions come from actual monolingual dictionaries. In the case of the one you're referencing, it's from デジタル大辞泉. I don't know why you would doubt that. Jisho uses data from a database contributed to by the community.
